Finished size:- 30cm (12”) high

Requirements:-

• 72 x 2 1⁄2” squares of assorted fabrics – 30 need to be lights for the head area and the others dark
• 1 x 8 1⁄2” and 1 x 6 1⁄2” square for the tail
• 4” square of fabric for the beak
• Small amount of felt for the comb
• Fibre fill
• 20cm calico – to make a bag to hold the sand
• Sand
• Thread
• 2 x buttons for eyes
