This is a large carry-all style bag, made using scrappy strips from your cupboard. It uses the quilt-as-you-go method, and has a long shoulder strap, a fake buckle flap, and one large pocket and a phone pocket inside.
This could also be made using a Jelly Roll.
Finished size: 16″ wide x 12″ high, with an oval base

- Large stash of assorted fabrics at least 2 1/2″ wide
- 65cm firm thin wadding (I used bag wadding)
- 55cm lining
- Buckle or large button
- 5cm velcro
- Thread for piecing and quilting
