Use your stash, fats or fabric by the metre or a combination to make this gorgeous eye-catching quilt.

Finished size – 175cm x 175cm (70” Square)

Seam allowance: ¼” (6mm)

Fabric requirements:

This Quilt can be made using your Stash, Fat 1/4’s or Fabric by the metre, or a combination, the choice is yours.

There are 5 colours  OR 5 groups of colours needed to make this quilt, one background that is spread throughout the quilt and 4 contrast fabrics.

By the metre: you will need 1 background fabric and 4 contrast fabrics.

• Background – 1.5mt
• Contrast 1 – 1mt
• Contrast 2 – 1.5mt
• Contrast 3 – 1mt
• Contrast 4 – 1.5mt
• Binding – 50cm

Fat ¼’s:

• Background – 7 fat ¼’s
• Contrasts 1 – 5 fat ¼’s
• Contrasts 2 – 7 fat ¼’s
• Contrast 3 – 5 fat ¼’s
• Contrast 4 – 7 fat ¼’s
• Binding – approx 1/2mt this needs to be a fabric that will not blend with your other fabrics.

Scrappy:

• You will need a large stash that you are able to divide into 5 separate groups – in the sample I used Creams as my background and Reds, Greens, Blues and yellows as my contrasts.
• Binding – 50cm – this needs to be a fabric that will not blend with your other fabrics.
