Description
This beautiful quilt has been designed in 2 sizes, and with the option of using fabrics from your scrappy stash, fat quarters OR by the metre. All options are listed in this pattern.
Finished size:- Standard: 82” x 82” (205cm x 205cm), Large: 116” x 99” (290cm x 248cm)
Fabric requirements: Amounts in Red indicate large size.
Scrappy:
- Background – large stash of similar colours to blend into the background.
- Body of the quilt – large stash of mixed fabrics to contrast your background.
- Border and Binding – approx 1mt this needs to be a fabric that will not blend with your other fabrics.
Fat 1⁄4’s:
- Background – 12 fat 1⁄4’s 18 fat 1⁄4’s of similar colours.
- Body of the quilt – 20 fat 1⁄4’s 34 fat 1⁄4’s mixed fabrics.
- Border and Binding – approx 1mt 1.1 mt this needs to be a fabric that will not blend with your other fabrics.
By the metre: Choose contrasts that will contrast your background and work well with each other.
- Background – 2.5mts 5mt
- Contrast 1 – .9mt 1.6mt
- Contrast 2 – .9mt 1.6mt
- Contrast 3 – 1mt 1.8mt
- Contrast 4 – 1mt 1.3mt
- Contrast 5 – 1mt 1.9mt
- Border and Binding – 1mt 1.2mt
