RETIRING PATTERN

This quilt is a simple design with a great result, made using 7 fabrics. The design can be varied to use less or more number of fabrics, and the size can be changed to suit your bed size. These instructions cover a single bed size and a queen size.

Finished size:- 68” x 92” Single bed size OR 99” x 99” Queen size.

Requirements:

• Main fabric – 2.2mt (2.2mt)- This is feature fabric, novelty print or large floral are suitable here. (Use the colours in this fabric to pick the others).
• Contrast 1 – 70cm (1.3mt) – needs to go with but contrast the main fabric small print or tone on tone fabric would be suitable here.
• Contrast 2 – 70cm (1.2mt) – needs to go with but contrast the main fabric small print or tone on tone fabric would be suitable here.
• Contrast 3 – 70cm (1.2mt) – can be a feature fabric or larger print
• Contrast 4 – 1mt  (1.6mt)
• Contrast 5 – 1mt (1.6mt)
• Contrast 6 – 1mt  (1.3mt)
• Neutral coloured thread
